There are hundreds, possibly thousands of manufacturers and distributors of supplements that claim to fight cancer. There are just as many web sites selling such items. Most have only anecdotal evidence of their efficacy with testimonials from users, veterinarians and/or physicians attesting to the supplement's cancer-fighting properties.

Which do and which don't actually fight cancer? No one knows. Read up on as many as you can and ask your holistic vet for an opinion on the ones that sound to you as though they are "for real." Most likely, some do fight cancer. After all, most of the pharmaceuticals being developed for this purpose (for any purpose) are made from herbs and other natural substances. They aren't pulled out of the air or imported from Jupiter!  What we don't know as yet is which ones work, how well and in what dosages.

Most supplements are available through various companies or distributors. The prices vary widely and the quality may vary as well. When you find a supplement that you want to give your dog, type it into a search engine and do some price shopping, keeping in mind that some products are organic or natural-made and others are not and that some have better quality control than others.
